The slide. The holster was extremely tight at first, but has broken in well. The leather is very stiff, which I like. Conceal ability with this holster is very good, I have pulled off t-shirts and jeans with this holster regularly. The cant of the gun in the holster is comfortable; practice draws were second nature and took no re-training from my previous holsters. Joshua
