Great Holster Carry Options for Star Arms - Firestar Handguns by Side Guard Holsters

I own a Firestar M40 and carry it in one of my Exotic Python The Slide OWB holsters in black.  We make a lot of Star Firestar holsters and below are the most recommended options for carrying M30, M40 or M45.

 

OWB Recommendations:

The Slide - Great concealment pancake style holster that makes the heavy Firestar handguns very concealable and comfortable to carry.  The Side Guard protects you from the gun and the gun from you by covering the hammer and safety.

 

The Snap Reinforced - Great option for those who want a flat back side of the holster, easy on and off holster with the leather loop with snaps and even more comfortable to wear but not as concealable compared to The Slide.

IWB Recommendations:

Double Clip or Double Snap Reinforced - Surprisingly comfortable to carry a heavier gun like a Firestar.  It holds the gun securely, does not move around on your belt with the two connections and pancake style makes for a very comfortable all day wear.  The Side Guard protects the gun from you and you from the gun especially the hammer and safety lever.

Hammar - Great strong side minimal width holster but with two connection like a Double Snap.  The reinforced opening support easy reholstering and surprisingly comfortable.
