Great Holster Carry Options for Smith and Wesson K-frame Handguns by Side Guard Holsters

I love carrying my Model 10 or 66 in one of my The Slide, Quick Clip or Hammar holsters.  We make a lot of S&W K-frame holsters (Model 10, 13, 15, 18, 64, 65, 66 and more) and below are the most recommended options for carrying S$W Revolvers. One special need for revolver guns with hammers is to protect your side from the hammer by means of our Side Guard.

 

 

OWB Recommendations:

The Slide - Great concealment pancake style holster that makes the small J-frame very concealable and comfortable to carry all day on your belt under a t-shirt or other cover garment.

The Snap Reinforced - Great option for those who want a flat back side of the holster, easy on and off holster with the leather loop with snaps and even more comfortable to wear but not as concealable compared to The Slide.

IWB Recommendations:

Double Clip or Double Clip Reinforced  - Is a great option for a two connection holsters that minimize the thickness of the gun.  It holds the gun securely, does not move around on your belt with the two connections and pancake style makes for a very comfortable all day wear.  The Side Guard protects the gun from you and you from the gun especially the hammer.

Double Snap or Double Snap Reinforced - Is a great option for a two connection holsters that minimize the thickness of the gun.  It holds the gun securely, does not move around on your belt with the two connections and pancake style makes for a very comfortable all day wear.  The Side Guard protects the gun from you and you from the gun especially the hammer.

 

Hammar  - The holster are a reinforced opening with dual leather loop with snaps like a Double Snap only smaller.   Another benefit of this smaller holster is the connection points are just behind the cylinder to make it much more comfortable to carry.  Very stable small holster. 15 degree cant only.

 

Quick Clip or Quick Snap - These holsters are a reinforced opening holster that work very well for revolvers.  Another benefit of this smaller holster is the connection point is just behind the cylinder to make it much more comfortable to carry.  This holster is choosen by many revolver carriers.

Min Clip or Min Snap - Smallest and thinest holster with a single piece of leather.  These holsters work well for appendix carry and those that want the least bulk for carrying their revolvers.  The connection is just behind the cylinder to minize bulk. (Minimal Clip shown)

   

 

Tuck Clip - Tuckable holster that works especially well for revolvers with the clip off set over the trigger guard.  The tuckable option allows you to tuck in a shirt between the gun/holster and the clip so the only thing you would see is the clip.  Has all the benefits of the Quick Clip or Quick Snap.

Rough Out  - Great concealment pancake style holster that makes the large Charter Bulldog 44 special very concealable and comfortable to carry.

 

Rough Wallet Fixed or Reversible  - Great concealment pancake style holster that makes the large Charter Bulldog 44 special very concealable and comfortable to carry.
